About Us

Station 2 Custom Creations is a family-owned custom engraving, printing, and promotional products shop in Marquette Heights, Illinois. We serve customers across Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Morton, Washington, and the surrounding Tazewell and Peoria County communities — and ship personalized orders nationwide.

We make custom leatherette patch hats, laser-engraved drinkware, full-color UV printed products, personalized gifts, and branded merchandise for businesses and organizations. Nearly everything we sell is produced in our own shop rather than sent out to a third party, which is how we keep turnaround fast and quality consistent.

Built by a Firefighter

Station 2 grew out of a side project into a full production shop. Our founder is a career firefighter, and the name comes from the job — which is also why first responder gear has become one of the things we're known for. Fire, police, and EMS departments across central Illinois come to us for shift gifts, retirement pieces, academy graduation orders, and department merchandise, because we understand what those pieces mean to the people receiving them.

The business is family-run. We handle production, design, customer service, and packing ourselves, so when you email us about an order, you're talking to the person who will actually make it.

Made In-House in Marquette Heights

Our shop is a dedicated, climate-controlled production space — not a garage corner. Here's what we run:

• Mimaki UJF-6042 MkII UV flatbed printer — full-color, high-resolution printing directly onto drinkware, leatherette patches, metal panels, golf balls, poker chips, coasters, and more
• Aeon Mira 9 100W CO2 laser — cutting and engraving wood, leatherette, acrylic, and glassware
• 50W fiber laser — permanent marking on stainless steel, anodized metal, and tools
• 40W CO2 galvo laser — high-speed engraving on drinkware and leatherette
• Stahls Fusion IQ 360 hat press — professional patch application built specifically for headwear
• Vinyl cutting and heat press equipment — decals, transfers, and signage

Running our own equipment means we can take a one-off personalized gift and a 250-piece corporate order with the same setup.

• Custom drinkware — insulated tumblers, water bottles, can coolers, travel mugs, and glassware
• FrostBuddy can coolers — including our First Responder Collection with red, blue, white, silver, gold, and camo line designs
• Custom leatherette patches — engraved or full-color printed, contour cut to your artwork, for your own hats and gear
• Personalized gifts — cutting boards, coasters, portfolios, name tags, bottle openers, knives, trauma shears, ornaments, and awards
• Promotional products — branded merchandise, employee gifts, client gifts, and event giveaways
• Photo prints — UV printed metal panels and stretched canvas
• Signs, banners, and apparel — produced in-house or through our trusted local partner shops

Minimums and Turnaround

We built this shop to take the orders other vendors turn away.

• No minimums on drinkware or finished hats. Order one, or outfit an entire department.
• 12-piece minimum per design on standalone patches, printed golf balls, and poker chips.
• Print-ready vector artwork is used as-is. If we need to create or redraw your artwork, there's a $35 artwork fee.
• Most orders ship same or next day when we have blanks on hand, and we keep hundreds in stock. Custom orders take longer when specific blanks need to be brought in.
• Digital proofs on custom work, so you approve the artwork before anything is engraved or printed.
• Free shipping on drinkware orders over $65, with local pickup and delivery available.

Working With Local Partners

We're honest about what we do and don't run ourselves. Embroidery and screen printing are handled by trusted local partner shops, which means we can still quote and manage full apparel programs alongside your hats and drinkware — you get one point of contact instead of three vendors.

In the Community

We sponsor the Marquette Heights Recreation Association and Pekin Junior Football League, and we run team stores and fundraiser merchandise for local youth sports organizations. A portion of those sales goes back to the leagues.
